The Railway Museum owns over 40,000 objects grouped into four basic collections: technical, historical, artistic and collection of applied arts. The museum has a permanent setting featuring a railway sword, inductive telephones, locomotive plates, railway clocks, ticket punch (or control nippers), models of different types of passenger and freight cars, signaling models, as well as the column of the railway station in Skopje, destroyed in the earthquake in 1963.
