Parni Valjak, one of the most popular local bands, comes at Belgrade stadium Tasmajdan on 24th June. Celebrating the 40th anniversary began last year when all the venues where they performed were packed. That way, a birthday celebration grew into a concert tour named "2 in 1". That tour gave the audience the opportunity to enjoy two concerts at once - acoustic and electric all in high-budget production.
Aki Rahimovski and band members sound better than ever, and the energy on the stage has been on the same level for all these years. Parni Valjak is eagerly waiting for the day when it will perform at renovated Tas which keeps many memories from imposing career. Parni Valjak can immodestly compare itself to the legendary Rolling Stones because four generations come to its concerts and there is no generation gap. The fans can expect a new studio album by the end of the year or at the beginning of the next year. Organizers announce true pop-rock spectacle in Belgrade and there will definitely be enough time both for the greatest hits that marked this band and for the latest releases.
