Days of the Hermitage in Belgrade, a cultural manifestation of international importance organized by the State Hermitage Museum, the Ministry of Culture of Serbia and the company Gazprom Neft. The premiere, which changes the historical course of culture and art, will make the connection between the two countries even stronger.
The National Museum of Serbia is a place where two exhibitions will be shown at the same time - Invisible Art and Imperial Porcelain. The first is an inclusive project that brings a direct encounter with history to the city center, as visitors will have the opportunity to touch ancient frescoes, carpets and tactile models from the Hermitage collection. The second exhibition, Imperial Porcelain, is designed to bring the life and legacy of the Romanov dynasty closer. Replicas of the dining service used by the Romanovs during formal dinners and family celebrations are sure to attract a large crowd.
Both exhibitions in the National Museum will be on the program until 24th November.
The National Theater is another address for holding a magnificent event. In order to celebrate 100 years of Serbian ballet, the famous St. Petersburg Yacobson Ballet will perform its best works on 24th and 25th October. On 28th October, a gala concert of the Russian baritone, People's Artist of Russia Vasily Gerello will be held at the same place.
The Yugoslav Cinematheque (Film archive) is reserved for film screenings. Premiere, of course. The Empresses and Peter I: The Last Tsar and the First Emperor are titles that will fill the hall to the last seat. Fans of film art will enjoy seminars, round tables and master class meetings in the cinema during the event.
On Wednesday, 25th October, the attention will be "stolen" by the University of Belgrade, because it is here where Mikhail Piotrovsky, director of the Hermitage, will hold a public lecture on the topic of "St. Petersburg's Bridges of Culture."
The scientific archeology conference that will be organized in Belgrade and Novi Sad is another in a series of activities from the rich program.
Hermitage Days in Serbia represents the first manifestation of the legendary museum in this part of Europe. In order to bring the two cultures together during and after the spectacular event, the focus is on connecting artists from Serbia and Russia, continuous exchange of experience and knowledge, creation of new ideas and new history.
The State Hermitage Museum

The Hermitage Days in Belgrade from 24th to 29th October will remain recorded in the history books as a debut opportunity to indulge in the magic of creativity and works of art marked "From Russia".
