Belgrade Boat Carnival 2024

The 19th Belgrade Carnival of Boats is organized on Saturday, 15th June from 17:00 to 22:00. Sava Promenade, in front of the Galerija Shopping Center and Belgrade Tower, is the exact location of the great event.

A cheerful parade of decorated vehicles, performances by famous performers, a parade of majorettes and entertainers and children's workshops are part of the program of this year's Belgrade Boat Carnival.

The program begins at 17:00 with the anthem of Belgrade and music for children performed by the "Carolija" choir of the Children's Cultural Center, which, together with the performance of the dance club "La Luna" and the majorettes from Bela Crkva, will entertain the youngest visitors.

The ceremonial parade of the Police Orchestra, which has become a trademark of the event, will mark the beginning of an exciting program on the water in which sailors from the Belgrade Academic Sailing Club, attractive tourist boats, vessels of various types and purposes from all Belgrade marinas will participate. Leader of the parade on the water will be the famous Fireman boat with water cannons, followed by the Horizont boat with members of the International Police Association IPA. All vessels participate in the selection for the most beautifully decorated vessel, and valuable prizes await the winners.

After the carnival on the water, the program on the shore continues with a concert by the unique string quartet "Dinamica Music", a musical attraction of Serbia consisting of three electric violins and a DJ. The next part of the program is the concert of Zorja, a famous soloist with a notable performance at Beovizija, followed by the band "Decak iz vode" dedicated to the memory of Milan Mladenovic and the famous band EKV, whose special guest for this evening will be Tanja Jovicevic.

In the area in front of the Shopping Center Galerija up to Tower of Belgrade, parents and children will be able to enjoy the art workshops "Painted boat, family boat" DKCB (Children Cultural Center Belgrade), the display of the Museum of Illusions and the rich carnival "Master Craft" bazaar with souvenirs, artworks, handicrafts and domestic products. Among the exhibitors is the Association of Women from Vojvodina "Our Heritage" with handicrafts of crocheting, knitting, embroidery and weaving, as well as the Association SOS Children's Villages of Serbia, whose participation reflects the charity character of the Belgrade Boat Carnival.

The Belgrade Boat Carnival is organized by the Tourist Organization of Belgrade with the support of the City of Belgrade in cooperation with the Shopping Center Galerija and Belgrade Waterfront. The friend of the event is the company Knjaz Milos.
