You have probably already seen some billboard with the inscription Banksy Belgrade. You are wondering what this is. Finally, this is the exhibition that the city has been waiting for. And it arrived on 1st January! Borrowed works from galleries, museums and private collections are now on display in the Pop-up gallery and will be in the same place until 6th April.
Banksy is a stage name behind a mysterious personality. There is mostly speculation about him, but his works are well-known to audiences around the world. The graffiti he signs impress audiences around the world. There are 100 or more of his works - works of art - in Belgrade. In addition to them, there are works by greats who inspired Banksy, such as Picasso, Warhol and others. When you walk through the exhibition, you will understand the artist's versatility. Curator David Ryazantsev revealed that the exhibition also has a selfie zone where photography is allowed with a recreation of Banksy's work Bomb Hugger. The exhibition is open every day from 10:00 to 20:00.
